Teddy + Candy: Wedding Door Games
Teddy met Candy on a trip to Taiwan and their relationship blossomed from there. After going on many foodie adventures and traveling long distances to see each other, Teddy popped the question while they were on a trip in Paris. Candy and Teddy envisioned a beautiful American wedding but also wanted to add in a little Taiwanese wedding tradition, the wedding door games!
In the morning, the bridesmaids hid Candy and prepared several games for Teddy and his groomsmen to play in order to win the bride. Dressed to the nines, Teddy and his fellow groomsmen arrived and enthusiastically took on each challenge. Their first challenge was to pay $88 (a lucky number) to get through the front entrance.
Next, Teddy was quizzed on important dates and milestones in their relationship. Candy was able to listen to Teddy's answers and watch his reactions through FaceTime for each challenge. After the pop quiz, the bridesmaids whipped up a cocktail of interesting ingredients and dared the guys to drink it before they could move onto the next game.
Teddy and the groomsmen worked as a team to chug the mystery drink. After that, they were required to imitate the poses shown to them on posters. I think they did a fantastic job!
The last challenge was for Teddy to write an answer to Candy's question in Chinese. It looks like Candy approves of his writing! The bridesmaids helped to put a blindfold on and led him to where Candy was hiding. Teddy holds the bouquet to present to his bride. Here are photos from their first look!
