When Danny Married Kristy
Danny and Kristy are one of the sweetest couples that I know! They truly have a whole community of support around them that have been nurturing their relationship. With Kristy’s eye for design and help from her crafty and creative friends, Kristy and Danny planned a beautiful wedding day that was infused with their personality and style from top to bottom!
The Ruby Street has separate rooms for the bridal party to get ready, all decked out in the cutest furniture too! The bridesmaid helped Kristy get into her beautiful Vivienne Atelier dress and snapped photos of the special moment. In the next room, Danny had his groomsmen open gifts - the most adorable little pins of their pet cats and dogs! The pins looked so charming next to the boutonnieres and added so much personality! Did you catch the matching cat socks?
Kristy and Danny also incorporated some cultural elements into their wedding by playing Groom’s Games and having a Tea Ceremony. Before Danny could see the beautiful bride, he had to face challenges and overcome obstacles until the bridesmaids were satisfied. With the support of his groomsmen, Danny had to endure the pain of getting his legs waxed, correctly match Kristy’s face together, and serenade the girls with a Backstreet Boy song while dressed up! He did whatever it took to get to Kristy in the end! Afterward, Kristy and Danny served tea to their parents and close family members in exchange for lucky red envelopes.
The ceremony was held in the outdoor garden of the Ruby Street under an arch that was beautifully decorated by Milieu Florals. A musical ensemble composed of Kristy’s brothers and her friends added a meaningful touch to the ceremony. The Sand Pouring Ceremony was special because it symbolized how the two families are joined together. Now get ready for some gorgeous, romantic photos!
Kristy and Danny’s unique personality and style really came through in all aspects of the decor. Together, they designed all the invitations, signs, and a very creative and cute escort card display! Guests excitedly looked for their name to find out which cute cat pin they received! The long tables were draped with euclayptus garlands and flourished with more blooms in eclectic vases. The three tiered cake and assortment of donuts invited everyone inside for the reception. The rest of the evening was spent laughing, eating, toasting, and most definitely dancing the night away!
