Eula + Andrew : The Colony House
I absolutely adore Eula & Andrew! Eula and I have been planning her wedding together from the very beginning — big thanks to ZhaZha for connecting us! =) I remember meeting Eula at Lofty Coffee and listening to their love story. We bonded over our love of dogs and learned that we both work in schools!
After two years of planning, it’s fantastic to see the vision come together! Rose gold everything, lots of candlelight, delicious food, plants for everyone, and some fun with smoke bombs! The Koo’s put together an incredible party - keep scrolling to read more about all the beautiful details of #AKooLavStory!
The Colony House was the perfect venue! After getting ready at the hotel, Eula and Andrew exchanged their First Look by the living wall of plants on the outdoor patio. Seeing their happy smiles makes me all giddy inside! Eula is absolutely perfect in her blush wedding dress with delicate floral embroidery. Andrew looked equally handsome in his blue suit.
Eula’s father made many of the decor elements for the wedding! He created the arch out of copper rods, built stands for the welcome sign and seating chart, and also the table number stands too! So glad we were able to work with Cindy to add beautiful blooms everywhere! We also had a little bit of a geometric element in our decor that could be found on the welcome table and the reception tables centerpieces. Lastly, dancing candlelight everywhere! We used tall hurricane glasses in varying sizes, pillar candles, and floating candles to light up the ceremony area and aisleway.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Koo!! Now get ready for some wedding party awesome-ness! #squadgoals
After the ceremony, the room was flipped while guests enjoyed cocktail hour outside on the patio or upstairs. The wedding party surprised everyone with a fun dance for their grand entrance! After enjoying toasts and speeches, Eula serenaded Andrew with a song while her bridesmaids backed her up by leading the guests in clapping along. The party really got started when a large piñata was brought onto the dance floor and everyone took a swing at it! The Kogi food truck came for late night munchies and it all ended on a sweet note with Sidecar Doughnuts!
