Congratulations to Andrea & Vivek! We started planning back in 2019, but the pandemic in 2020 led us to postpone to 2021. After having an intimate backyard micro-wedding in 2020, they were excited to party with all their family and friends this year!

Festivities started on Friday with an Indian Ceremony at the gorgeous Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California. Guests arrived in colorful sarees, enjoyed breakfast and listened to the musicians. The Mandap was decorated lavishly with flowers and draping. The South Indian Ceremony was very beautiful! My favorite part was watching the bride and groom play a game where they had to search for rings in a bowl of water. Jalsa Catering provided a delicious lunch with traditional foods.

On Saturday, we reconvened in the beautiful wine country of St. Helena. Andrea & Vivek said their vows in front of a backdrop of orange and peach carnations. There were little hints of Andrea’s Chinese cultural customs throughout the decor such as the Chinese paper lanterns decorating the cocktail hour space and the double happiness symbol on the favor boxes and table numbers.
